🚗 Fast & Direct

Bolt app: This is often the cheapest and easiest option for a direct ride.

A ride with the Bolt app to the city center usually costs between 10 € and 20 €, depending on the time of day and demand.

Regular taxis: Official taxis are available right outside the arrivals hall.

Be sure to choose a licensed taxi (e.g., Red Cab).

A standard metered ride to the city center costs about €18 to €28.

Important: It’s best to use the app or agree on the price in advance to avoid being overcharged by unlicensed drivers.

🚌 Public Bus (Very affordable)

Bus Line 22: The Rīgas Satiksme bus departs directly from the airport every 10 to 20 minutes during the day (stop behind Parking Lot P1).

Fare: A single-ride ticket costs €1.50 when purchased in advance at the ticket machine in the airport or via the app. You can also buy the ticket directly from the bus driver for €1.81—however, only card payments are accepted.

Route to Kalpaka bulvāris: Take bus 22 to the “11. novembra krastmala” stop (right next to the Old Town) or the “Autoosta” stop (Central Bus Station). From there, you can either walk about 15 minutes through the Old Town to Kalpaka bulvāris or transfer to trolleybus line 3 (toward Sarkandaugava) for the last few meters; it stops right at Kalpaka bulvāris.
